However, on April 16, it only collected an estimated 24 lakhs in theaters.
By the twelfth day, it witnessed a 16.40 percent occupancy rate.

TOTAL EARNINGS
As of now, the total earnings of ‘Family Star’ could hit the mark of Rs 20.03 crore in India.
BACKLASH AND COMPLAINTS
Earlier, the film faced backlash and negative reviews, leading to reports of a targeted campaign against the actor and the movie.
The makers reportedly lodged a complaint against the attack on the movie by some social media users.
However, Vijay revealed that he did not file any such complaints.
