Although it didn’t attract the usual massive crowds associated with Mahesh Babu films, ‘Guntur Kaaram’ managed to sustain itself, thanks in part to Mahesh’s strong appeal with family audiences. Trivikram’s knack for crafting compelling family dramas also contributed to the film’s success during the festival season.

While the film faced criticism on its release day, its survival during the festive period underscores Mahesh’s enduring popularity. The 100-day run was observed in two specific locations: Venkateswara Theatre in Chilakaluripeta, Andhra Pradesh, and Nataraja Theatre in Karnataka.”

Remarkably, this marks Mahesh’s 19th consecutive film to reach its 100th day at least in one theatre since ‘Arjun.’

Megastar Chiranjeevi currently holds the record for the highest number of successive 100-day films, running at least at one center, from ‘Hitler’ to ‘Sye Raa.’ His streak of 20 films was disrupted by ‘Acharya,’ which didn’t achieve a 100-day theatrical run. With ‘Guntur Kaaram,’ Mahesh stands at 19 films, just two away from breaking this record.”
