Reports suggested that the actor was offered a staggering 150 crore for the trilogy, yet he made the bold choice to step away from the film, only to reemerge with an even more compelling role! The KGF superstar has now collaborated with Namit Malhotra to co-produce the film.
2025 will indeed be a year to cherish for Yash, with his highly anticipated film Toxic, featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan as his sister, set to hit theaters. In a recent interview, Yash discussed his new role as a co-producer of Ramayana, expressing, “It has long been my ambition to create films that elevate Indian cinema to a global stage. During my time in L.A., I partnered with one of the top VFX studios, led by a fellow Indian, which was truly inspiring. Namit and I had several brainstorming sessions, and serendipitously, our visions for Indian cinema harmonized seamlessly.”
