Akshay Kumar Set to Make His Tollywood Debut in the Vishnu Manchu Starrer
Akshay Kumar is going to be in Mukesh Kumar Singh’s new movie ‘Kannappa’, which stars Vishnu Manchu. The movie is a fantasy drama based on mythology, focusing on a devotee of Lord Shiva named Kannappa.

This is Akshay Kumar’s first time acting in a Telugu film. Ramesh Bala, who tracks the film industry, shared the news that Akshay Kumar is now part of the movie.
He said, “Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar joins the cast of Vishnu Manchu’s big-budget movie Kannappa. After Prabhas, Mohanlal, Prabhu Deva, and Sarath Kumar, Akshay Kumar is another great addition to the cast. Stay tuned for more updates.”
Akshay Kumar’s journey in South Indian cinema started in 1993 with the bilingual film ‘Ashaant’, released in Kannada as ‘Vishnu Vijaya’. Later, he debuted in Tamil with the blockbuster ‘2.0’ in 2018, alongside Rajinikanth. ‘Kannappa’ will be his third project in South Indian cinema.
